Crutch Refinement

Background
Short and long-term crutch users typically experience pain or discomfort during use. This is due to having a minimal and basic design supplied by the NHS. These do not cater for a good user experience, more so to just get the job done.

The Brief
-       Design a forearm crutch that will be able to aid the mobility of the user.
-       The design should take into consideration users of all ages and genders.
-       The crutch must be self-explanatory, easy to disassemble, clean and repair individual parts as needed.

User and customer requirements
-       The ferrules provide optimum grip and gait support.
-       The handles ensure even weight distribution.
-       Aesthetically pleasing colours to replace the traditional medical equipment look.
